Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee accounting operations at indaHash. The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate financial transaction recording and reporting.

The key challenges for this role include:

  • Close collaboration with the CFO and IDH management on finance department setup.
  • Decision-making on scheduling timelines for changes within the accounting department.
  • Responsibility for financial accounting across a group of legal entities in multiple countries.
  • Cooperation with local and foreign accounting offices.
  • Full tax and statutory reporting, including VAT, CIT, withholding tax, GUS, and NBP reporting.
  • Accounting policy and chart of accounts management, as well as accounting and tax procedures on local and group levels.
  • Preparation of periodic financial statements, analyses, and reports, including group-level consolidations.
  • Leading statutory audits and tax controls on local and group levels.
  • Providing complete and accurate financial information for reporting, forecasting, and controlling purposes.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and resolving accounting issues with impacted business.
Requirements:
  • Polish language proficiency at C1 level.
  • At least five years of experience in accounting, preferably two years as a Chief Accountant, with marketing/advertising industry experience being an asset.
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Excellent management and organizational skills for building and controlling external accounting offices.
  • Good knowledge of accounting consolidation of financial statements.
  • English language proficiency at C1 level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Proactive approach, accuracy, strong organizational skills, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and former experience with multinational companies and accountancy regulations being welcome.
