The ServiceNow Developer will play a crucial role in delivering and supporting ServiceNow applications within the GBS and Corporate Functions area. This includes administration, integrations, authorization configuration, unit testing, and development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business requirements gathering from end-users or IT teams and propose optimal technical solutions to fulfill user requests or resolve issues in the assigned area.
  • Manage technical design, development, unit testing, and production deployment, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow best practices and JTI architecture standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Ensure consistency and standardization of ServiceNow applications in the assigned area.
  • Complete required system documentation before Go-Live and actively contribute to Knowledge Base creation.
  • Oversee a small team of external developers and maximize their performance.
  • Provide timely technical support for issue resolution in project and maintenance modes, including data maintenance and user access administration, coordinating activities with IT and business teams involved.
  • Analyze technology trends and JTI business demand to identify potential business opportunities and consult end-users on ServiceNow platform capabilities.
  • Review performance according to JTI KPIs and SLAs, taking necessary actions to improve as needed.

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in IT.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 3 years of experience in ServiceNow implementations, including business requirements gathering, development, testing, and cutovers.
  • Expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform, administration, Workspace configuration.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD, SPM, and WSD modules is highly beneficial.
  • Solid experience with ServiceNow integrations.
  • Good understanding of key IT processes, knowledge of ITIL or similar framework, development experience in Agile projects.
  • 1+ year of Development Team Leader experience is a significant advantage.
  • Good knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture will be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to deliver on time and follow-up promptly on any issues and/or risks identified.
