About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Specialist to join our team at IG Group. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical health and SEO performance of our global website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, CWVs, and site speed.
  • Manage URLs and redirects in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to ensure a clean and optimized site structure.
  • Optimize international SEO by monitoring and implementing improvements to hreflang tags to ensure our global website is correctly indexed and targeted for international audiences.
  • Support website migrations by maintaining SEO best practices, updating internal linking, handling redirects, and ensuring no loss of SEO value.
  • Monitor and report on key technical SEO metrics using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Lumar, providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, content teams, and product managers, to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented and contribute to the overall website's performance.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of technical SEO concepts, including crawlability, indexability, CWVs, page speed optimization, and sitemaps.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other CMS platforms.
  • Ability to work with international SEO, including hreflang implementation and optimizing sites for global search engines.
  • Experience with structured data (schema markup) and its implementation to improve search visibility and rich snippets.
  • Experience with SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or Lumar, for monitoring and troubleshooting technical SEO issues.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how these technologies impact SEO, with an ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members, and collaborate across teams.
  • Good command of English to collaborate effectively with international teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
