About the Role

Equinix is the world's digital infrastructure company, operating over 250 data centers across the globe. As a Global HR Services Team Lead, you will oversee an HR Services team managing the day-to-day administrative and operational support for a defined HR process area, ensuring a quality employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to direct reports and build a highly capable team through the attraction, training, and development of skilled professionals.
  • Set tasks for the team, act as a subject matter expert for assigned process, and ensure that the team can deliver.
  • Manage the workload of assigned process teams, ensuring work is completed within set performance standards on timeliness, quality, and productivity.
  • Work seamlessly with HR Services leadership to build efficiencies into the entire team.
  • Actively participate in the creation, documentation, and end-to-end management of assigned process areas.
  • Be accountable for data integrity in systems and perform appropriate audit controls for assigned process areas.
  • Support, develop, and train team members on HR systems and processes for assigned process areas.
  • Serve as a first point of escalation for team members to resolve complex issues for assigned process areas.

Requirements

  • Proven years of progressive experience, with proven years of relevant leadership experience managing a shared services or HR Operations team.
  • Experience in standardizing/re-engineering HR processes that can help build scale at a global level.
  • Exceptional communication skills, impeccable customer service skills, and a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Experience of HR Operations and developing KPIs and SLAs to enhance service delivery.
  • Must possess good influencing skills, conflict management, and resolution skills.
  • Experience in managing virtual, cross-cultural teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative, and ingenuity to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures.
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and independently determine and take appropriate action within defined HR policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance/direction.
