Senior UX Researcher Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our team, responsible for defining and executing user research programs that drive product development and design decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of UX research experience, with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field. They will be comfortable with planning, prioritizing, conducting, analyzing, and communicating research in various contexts.

About the Role:

  • Lead foundational research activities to explore problem spaces, frame problems, and gather evidence to define next steps.
  • Determine and recommend efficient and effective user-centered research approaches (qualitative and quantitative) to solve business needs.
  • Develop data-informed job maps, customer outcomes, and user archetypes.
  • Synthesize quantitative data with qualitative data to tell impactful stories, informing product and design decisions.
  • Define and report on UX success metrics and behavioral targets.
  • Create design principles, in collaboration with designers, informed by internal and external data sources.
  • Work collaboratively with user experience team members, content writers, development teams, product teams, users, and other stakeholders as part of an agile software development process.

About You:

  • You have a Master's degree or higher in Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Human Factors, Engineering Psychology, Interactive Design, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of UX research experience or 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in UX research on B2B SaaS solutions.
  • Experience in foundational/generative and qualitative research to identify needs/problems and workflow/task analysis.
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research throughout an Agile development process.
  • Experience with using data analytics to identify UX research course of action, a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Earnings Estimate: This position comes with a salary estimate of approximately $120,000 per year, considering factors such as the title, location, and industry standards.
