Job Description

Circle K is seeking a highly skilled Test Coordinator to join our team. As a Test Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting teams in relationships inside and outside the organization from a quality assurance perspective. Your main responsibility will be to cover an end-to-end test plan and ensure that all testing procedures and rules are followed properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain test plans, ensuring that testing activities are well-coordinated and that all stakeholders are properly informed.
  • Participate in end-to-end testing execution across teams with project dependencies, providing additional support as needed.
  • Provide guidance and expertise during the creation of integration and automated test cases, assisting in decision-making processes.
  • Drive the implementation of the organizational testing strategy in all key areas, including test automation, test processes, and maintenance.
  • Ensure a good understanding of the testing approach among all stakeholders.
  • Monitor all testing activities related to incidents/bugs and fixes in the software development life cycle.
  • Maintain a high-level view of testing outcomes for other stakeholders, particularly the Test Manager.
  • Agree with the team on a consensus between the Test Strategy and team limitations and needs related to documentation, execution standards, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Introduce testing tools to stakeholders, highlighting their value and ensuring alignment with the team's needs.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing between teams to ensure that teams are well-informed to make testing decisions independently.
  • Consult and analyze test results, bringing a balanced perspective to the evaluation of testing efforts.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external QA stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with project objectives.
  • Advise on critical decisions regarding all testing activities, especially in release/roll out on Prod.
  • Coordinate cross-team testing activities such as end-to-end/SIT.
  • Take care of security testing (penetration testing) coordination with external vendors.
  • Identify, analyze, and report risks to the risk board, not only test-related risks but also design and project risks after consultation with the team.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of newcomers, especially in the QA area.
  • If needed, act as a supervisor for checking proper QA work, including correct testing coverage of any required types of testing.
  • Act as a QA Circle K representative to external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Actively participate in COPQA.
  • Organize, coordinate, and support penetration and performance testing for teams.
  • Act as a guardian of the processes developed in the Test Strategy, and the first point of escalation in case of any QA problems with teams.
  • Act as a mentor, providing experienced input to guide the team.
