Job Title: Credit and Collections Accountant with German

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Accountant with German language proficiency to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing credit and collections activities, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Reporting and Follow-up: Prepare and submit daily reports on missed payments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Outstanding Payments: Identify and pursue outstanding payments, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing losses.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate records of actions taken and planned, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and facilitate meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss payment plans and resolve disputes.
  • Meeting Minutes and Follow-up: Compile and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring follow-up on agreed actions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Work closely with the business analyst to develop achievable plans, documenting and discussing proposed plans with franchise partners.
  • Compliance and Monitoring: Monitor compliance with agreed-upon plans, communicating with franchisees regarding overdue debts and missed payments.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of finance or economics.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and German.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, with experience in the SSC environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong analytic and organizational skills, and a competitive salary and benefits package.
