Company & position overview:
On behalf of our Client, a dynamic portfolio company of a Private Equity Fund in the premium Consumer Goods sector we are currently seeking highly driven International eCommerce Managers to take responsibility for marketplace sales in designated geographical regions (US, UK, European Union, or Asia).
The company sells its premium products through leading global and regional marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Rakuten, Shopee, Alibaba, and Allegro, and is now scaling rapidly to strengthen its international leadership.
Reporting to the Global eCommerce Director, the International eCommerce Manager will be accountable for marketplace performance, sales growth, and profitability in the assigned region. This role includes direct P&L responsibility for marketplace sales, with strong focus on content optimization, digital shelf management, marketplace advertising, and partner relations.
Scope of duties:
- Develop and execute the marketplace sales strategy for the assigned region (US, UK, EU, or Asia), in alignment with global objectives.
- Manage day-to-day operations across key marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Rakuten, Shopee, Alibaba, Allegro, etc.), ensuring competitive positioning, profitable growth, and operational excellence.
- Own the regional marketplace P&L, delivering on revenue, margin, and ROI targets.
- Oversee product listings, content, ratings/reviews management, and marketplace advertising (e.g., Amazon AMS, Sponsored Ads, DSP) to maximize visibility and conversion.
- Plan and execute pricing, promotions, and campaigns tailored to each marketplace and regional consumer behavior.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners and account managers (e.g., Amazon Vendor/Seller Managers, Allegro KAMs).
- Monitor competitor activity, consumer trends, and platform developments to identify opportunities for sales acceleration.
- Analyze and report on marketplace KPIs (traffic, conversion, basket size, advertising ROI, profitability), providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent customer satisfaction in the region.
- Act as the key regional representative in global eCommerce discussions, ensuring knowledge-sharing and alignment with other regions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing marketplace sales, preferably in consumer goods or premium categories.
- Strong, hands-on expertise in Amazon (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central) and at least one other leading marketplace (eBay, Rakuten, Shopee, Alibaba, Allegro, etc.) relevant to the assigned region.
- Proven experience in marketplace P&L management and delivering profitable growth.
- Solid knowledge of marketplace advertising tools (e.g., Amazon AMS, DSP, Sponsored Ads) and digital shelf optimization.
- Analytical mindset with strong command of performance data and ability to translate insights into business actions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with marketplace partners.
- Fluent in English.
