Job Summary


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Service Manager to oversee and manage our organisation's operations for specific IT services in the area of Enterprise Content Management with a focus on application archiving. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services to internal stakeholders, leading a team of IT professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.



Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT service management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage a team of internal and external IT professionals, driving performance and growth through coaching and mentoring.
  • Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics to measure success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT service requirements with business objectives and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Plan, deploy, and support IT systems, infrastructure, and applications to ensure seamless operation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and external service providers to negotiate contracts and improve services.
  • Provide leadership during critical incidents and problem resolution, staying calm under pressure and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to stay ahead of the competition.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience as an IT Service Manager in a large organisation, with a track record of delivering results.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, including ITIL.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience with application archiving in the area of ERP and NonERP is desirable, especially with JiVS archiving solution.
