Job Summary

We are currently looking forSpecialist, Client Management to join our Standard Chartered Bank AG team in Warsaw on a fix-term contract for 12 months.

The main pillars of the role will be: Cash Account Opening and Channels/Online Banking as well as Regulatory reporting under S ection 24c of the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz - KWG).

In this role you engage with clients, providing them with guidance around Client Management processes and services. You will also work in partnership with Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) teams: Relationship Managers, Product Sales, and Operations with regards to client engagement and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Account Opening and Channels/Online Banking

  • Perform relevant account opening activities, working closely with the relevant onshore and Hub teams to deliver fast set-up of all relevant systems.
  • Provide guidance to clients on all matters related to the activation of their Straight2Bank channel, including set up and trainings.
  • Conduct necessary checks and ensure the proper governance around the account opening (ensuring due diligence has been completed).

Regulatory reporting under Section 24c KWC

  • Complete the 24c account documentation as part of client onboarding process — ensure all relevant client data points have been provided by client and are captured in the account opening documentation form while this form is required during the semi-automated process.
  • Ensure that 24c data is correctly captured in the respective systems that will deliver data for the strategic automated 24c reporting.
  • Manage the process of reporting the relevant client data points under 24c into the German Online vendor Bankverlag.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience with working on cash account opening and channel activation.
  • Some experience with Customer due diligence processes would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with 24c KWC reporting would be advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is required, fluency in German is preferred but is not a mandatory requirement.
  • Good stakeholder management skills; ability to positively engage and build rapport with clients.
  • Problem solver; looks for solutions and finds ways to progress despite blockages.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision and able to cope with pressures from tight deadlines.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Risk & AML certified as stipulated by Bank policy.
