Job Description

As a Payment Fraud Detection Specialist at Lufthansa Group Business Services Sp. z o.o., you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing fraudulent transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to review online and call center bookings to detect suspicious activity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review online and call center bookings to identify potential fraudulent transactions
  • Analyze and evaluate bookings in various systems and sources
  • Investigate given information, such as person, transaction, booking, and payment
  • Conduct background research on the internet
  • Consult external and internal partners and applications to verify bookings
  • Decide on fraud/non-fraud and initiate respective actions
  • Contact stations concerning necessary checks or actions
  • Initiate and process additional actions
  • Proactively support the fraud management service by identifying new fraud patterns

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales audit, refunds or chargebacks
  • Knowledge of electronic payment methods and their security issues
  • Internet researching skills (OSINT approach)
