Our primary mission is to ensure that all employees of the EMEA Rockwell region receive correct and timely remuneration in accordance with applicable legal regulations and company policy.


    We are looking for a Senior Payroll Expert to provide services in scope of outsourced payroll process to employees. The services include timely and accurate payroll data collection, consolidation and delivery to an external payroll vendor, payroll processing and control, responses to queries from employees, managers and corporate units on the field of payroll with usage English or/ and other language. The position will be a primary contact at operational level with payroll vendors and internal clients. The candidate will also take part in payroll related projects and be responsible for completion of ad hoc tasks related to payroll process or payroll projects.


    Key Responsibilities:



  2. Timely collect, maintain and consolidate payroll data, ensure it is complete
  3. Deliver payroll data to an external payroll vendor
  4. Control payroll output received from an external payroll vendor
  5. Performing and controlling payroll services to ensure timely, accurate and compliant processes
  6. Preparing and verification of documentation/declarations and reports required by various authorities and institutions
  7. Respond to internal clients' inquiries concerning payroll
  8. Manage databases, work time, ensure data integrity between the systems including GPMS, WorkDay, SAP, ADP
  9. Verifying and controlling payroll data and calculations correctness; applying changes if necessary
  10. Cooperate with external payroll vendor at operational level to timely and accurately deliver payroll to employees
  11. Daily cooperation with HR and Finance Departments
  12. Effectively solve the issues related to outsourced payroll services delivered by an external payroll provide
  13. Maintain payroll processes to ensure alignment with legislation
  14. Build strong working relationships with teammates, cross-functional departments, and management
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative environment within the payroll team and with cross functional department peers
  16. Take part in payroll related projects
  17. Role model for others
  18. Have wide overview of processes for whole region
  19. Being a support for less experienced colleagues in the Team; supervising and controlling their work, knowledge sharing, etc.
  20. Support Team Lead / Manager in their day-to-day tasks

    Additional responsibilities as a Payroll Expert:



  2. In coordination with the Payroll Manager, identify key areas and/or processes that need process improvement, documentation, backup, and/or additional support
  3. Become the subject matter expert by learning new processes, making improvements, creating documentation, training payroll staff, and serving as their backup
  4. Own and manage recurring payroll processes, reporting, and audits of moderate to high complexity, risk, and/or scope
  5. Become an expert in our payroll and HR data; validate requirements, design, develop, and run reports; combine, add, manipulate, and validate report data according to need
  6. Assist with or lead the research and resolution of complex payroll and compliance related audits, issues and questions. Document processes, procedures, and train payroll staff
  7. Reviewing processes regularly to ensure they are up-to-date
  8. Identifying and implementing change in payroll process for continuous improvements
  9. Identifying and reporting issues to management when necessary, to avoid delays in processing

    Requirements:



  • Masters degree in finance or related field
  • Previous payroll experience, with shared services experience as a bonus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Advanced level of English (B1/B2) and another European language (Czech, German, Danish, Dutch, French)
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to excel under pressure and work harmoniously in a team
  • A flexible mindset that embraces change
