The Application Support Engineer will be part of a dynamic team collaborating with operations and development colleagues to ensure seamless application operations for PAYBACK Italy, Mexico, Austria, and Poland.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to 2nd-level operations, closely collaborating with development teams to advance DevOps culture and SRE environment.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external service providers, partners, and business sponsors to ensure consistent service delivery across the platform.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management initiatives.
  • Utilize automated tools for monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues and incidents.
  • Support web (Apache/Tomcat), application servers (Weblogic), and Oracle in the backend using the Linux platform.
  • Engage in automated deployments and proactive alerts for detecting production issues, visualizing server health.
  • Be prepared to work in an ON CALL model.

Your Ideal Profile:

  • 3 years of operations experience in application support teams, with a focus on monitoring, incident, problem, and change management procedures adhering to ITL processes.
  • 2nd-level operation experience, supporting/troubleshooting web (Apache/Tomcat), application servers (Weblogic), Oracle, with knowledge of XML, JSON, Web Services technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, including scripting skills in Python and Bash.
  • Experience with alerting and monitoring tools.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with Business Partners, Leadership, non-technical end-users, Technical SMEs, and vendors.
