We are seeking an experienced lawyer and manager to join our Global Contracts Legal team in Gdansk, Poland.

In this role, you will lead a team that provides legal support to various State Street's businesses and corporate functions globally in negotiating a variety of agreements and providing other types of legal support.

The team you will be joining plays an important role in the overall success of the organization.

Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.

As a Senior Legal Manager, Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of lawyers, projects, and legal processes and agreements supported by the team.

Additionally, you will be responsible for governance of key internal documents and templates, supporting your team in negotiations of complex agreements, and leading and coordinating the internal Custody Agreements Training Program.

  • Strong time management, prioritization, planning, and organizational skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Law school graduate (attorney-at-law license in any jurisdiction is a plus)
  • Eight (8) years or more of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably within financial services sector and/or international law firm or international company
