Scope:

As a Country Sales Director, you will utilize your proven track record in sales to identify, qualify, establish and maintain profitable business relationships. You will sell logistics solutions, including 3PL, LLP, and general freight services, in the country, targeting large-sized companies in various sectors such as chemical, life science, consumer products, and retail industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead new business outreach and meet/exceed goals.
  • Effectively deliver the Company story, value proposition, and products.
  • Drive new revenue and increase market share in a defined territory and industry.
  • Manage and optimize the sales strategy, implementing all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with new and key customers.
  • Meet individual and BDP International's KPIs and goals.
  • Actively work together with operations teams to optimize global operations in identifying and developing services and solutions.

Requirements:

  • A solid background in Freight Forwarding and Logistics at a senior sales level and proven ability to secure and build on relationships with C-level executives and other stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in any other European language is a plus.
  • An extensive customer network across the country market.
  • Proven track record of meeting Company KPIs and objectives.
  • Experience with implementing Company-wide sales strategies and clearly defining the sales process.
  • Ability to analyze and identify any sales pain points and put recommended fixes into action.
  • History of winning and retaining A, B, and C-level customers.
  • Running/maintaining an accurate pipeline and monthly market forecast.
  • Independent, creative, and self-disciplined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
