We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at VTU Engineering Polska sp. z o.o.

Job Description

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning contracts in the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, oil & gas, or metallurgy sectors. They will be responsible for leading the implementation of VTU strategies and developing business plans within the engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities in various sectors.
  • Ensure alignment between customer needs and business requirements, collaborating closely with the Engineering Team.
  • Contribute to short and long-term plant development plans and assist in defining strategic objectives.
  • Identify market potentials and new clients based on VTU's business objectives.
  • Generate new business relationships through pre-existing contacts, research, and inbound leads.
  • Actively participate in projects to develop customized solutions for clients.
  • Lead client acquisition efforts from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Prioritize prospects based on customer needs, focusing on building strategic partnerships rather than transactional sales.
  • Perform analysis to understand market trends and provide actionable insights to drive optimal outcomes.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Higher education in Chemical Technology, Chemical and Process Engineering, Bio-technology or derivatives.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, oil & gas, or metallurgy.
  • Proven track record of winning contracts within one or more of the aforementioned sectors.
  • Demonstrated initiative in independently initiating new activities and motivating others to take action.
  • Proficiency in English or German languages at a communicative level.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive and deliver results under time pressure.
