Technical Support Specialist

As a Technical Support Agent with HCL Technologies, you will provide comprehensive support to customers on various helpdesk queries, equipment configuration, backup maintenance, and software installation/de-installation. Your primary objective is to deliver exceptional customer service by identifying problems, researching solutions, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues via telephone for customers' end users
- Rout issues to internal support groups
- Coordinate relationships with vendors and collaborate closely with support staff to acquire technical knowledge
- Administer user access in various systems
- Utilize the Call Tracking System to document and manage problems, work requests, and their respective resolutions and circumventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Strong customer handling abilities and resourcefulness for dealing with unforeseen situations
- Able to quickly acquire new information and demonstrate willingness to do so at all times
- Willingness to adapt to a 24/7 work environment
- Familiarity with the IT environment and readiness to learn new processes and technologies
- Good working knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Internet browsers, antivirus, and firewall software, PC hardware
- ITIL knowledge would be an asset
