Your Future Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Coordinator and Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will report to Patryk, our Interco Bid & Project Manager in Katowice, and collaborate with passionate, motivated, and dedicated colleagues.


In this role, you will be responsible for preparing offers, supporting project coordination, and managing projects to deliver products according to customer requirements and expectations. You will work closely with various departments within the company, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and more, to find optimal solutions that meet customer needs and ALSTOM standards.


You will also lead major pursuits in the rail industry, understand market channels, and strengthen our team. Additionally, you will engage in customer relationship management, developing strong relationships with internal and external customers.



Main Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial and technical support in sales, bid, and project execution processing
  • Manage projects, dealing with internal and external sub-system interfaces, and ensure performance meets requirements
  • Support specific customers in problem-solving, alternatives, and recommendations
  • Manage ad hoc inquiries regarding products offered
  • Coordinate with the core bidding and project team, integrating the ALSTOM solution into the project, and run necessary meetings to ensure the Bid and Project Strategy is understood by all stakeholders
  • Manage the technical scope of bids, ensuring delivery of an accurate and competitive proposal in line with the standard solution and commercial strategy
  • Interface with internal departments, suppliers, and customers
  • Manage ad hoc technical queries on products offered
  • Lead and coordinate project activities transfer to close-out
  • Define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems (planning, cost, quality, performance)
  • Manage customer and external stakeholders' relationship
  • Plan, monitor, control, and manage end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, saving, opportunities)
  • Cascade and allocate requirements and QCDP objectives to team members
  • Implement and execute the scope of work according to the respective Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), as defined at Project level at the beginning of the project

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
