About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Development Manager to join our Commercial team in Poland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives in category and channels strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual Category & Channel Development plans, aligning with Marketing & Sales goals to achieve market shares, distribution, sales, and margin targets.
  • Set up category guidelines, targets, and KPIs to meet and maximize results.
  • Analyze and monitor main market competitors.
  • Generate new category insights and leverage existing ones.
  • Manage Market Share by product, channel, customer, and area using Nielsen, Focus Online, POS data, and other available data.
  • Host correct and full key market panel data for Poland (batteries, flashlights, and auto care products) via Nielsen Answers.
  • Collaborate with external customers and internal stakeholders to drive initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in any related discipline (MBA a plus).
  • At least 4-6 years of working experience in FMCG or similar industry.
  • Required to have 2-3 years of Category Management experience in any sizeable FMCG company.
  • Preferable to have 2-3 years of relevant experience in commercial or commercial planning area, including Sales planning and Brand Management.
  • Experienced in cross-functional team participation.

Technical Skills

  • Fluent English is a must (frequent interaction with International stakeholders).
  • Proficient knowledge of channel management, market analysis using POS and Nielsen data.
  • Negotiation skills – internally and externally.
  • Commercial delivery – result-oriented.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
