Role Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Leader to join our team. As a Senior Vice President, Business Planning and Analysis, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and strategy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in inter-disciplinary portfolios of risk management and compliance initiatives to drive business strategy and growth.
  • Translate business strategy into executable programs of delivery and provide leadership for related projects.
  • Ensure governance requirements are met, including stakeholder reporting, steering forum management, and administration of key documents.
  • Coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders across the company to identify and track key activities, milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum + years of total work experience with a proven track record in business execution and change management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Rigorous problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure problems and bring together necessary facts to clarify paths forward.
  • Impactful and thoughtful communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas in simple, practical terms for a wide range of audiences.
  • Relationship-building skills, with the ability to operate independently and drive projects forward while managing diverse stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
  • Business consulting background or experience in risk management or compliance is preferred but not required.
