Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Talent Acquisition Specialist who can support local units in various administrative tasks related to the employment life cycle and benefits.

This is a challenging role that requires collaboration with HR business partners at UPM's mills and office sites, as well as external stakeholders such as payroll or benefits providers.

Responsibilities
  • Support local units in various administrative tasks related to the employment life cycle and benefits.
  • Cooperate with HR business partners at UPM's mills and office sites and external stakeholders.
  • Provide advice to employees or managers related to HR processes, policies, and questions using ServiceNow, phone, and chat.
  • Maintain personal, employment, compensation, and benefit-related data updated in the HR system (Workday).
  • Prepare HR documents and reports.
  • Participate in additional HR projects and initiatives based on current needs, interests, and skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
  • Fluent communication in English and Spanish (role can be adjusted to language skills and experience).
  • Ideal previous HR experience or interest in developing in this area.
  • Comfortable working with various software and systems.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality service and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Solid communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a third language, particularly German, Finnish, Estonian, Russian, Polish, or French is valued.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work late shifts from 2 PM to 10 PM, with 2-3 shifts per week.
