Based in Cracow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Support Engineer to join our team.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around 85,000 - 110,000 PLN per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support during UK time zones and collaborating with development teams in India, Canada, and the US to build tools that automate release activities and monitor the production stack across the Chronos programme.

This role requires a strong understanding of Production Support processes and procedures, including Change, Incident, Problem, and Service Management.

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve high-impact issues, and ensuring service continuity and sustainability through effective risk management and compliance practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating and troubleshooting complex production defects using root cause analysis techniques;
  • Collaborating with development teams to design and implement solutions to improve production stability and efficiency;
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders;
  • Developing and maintaining documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse within the team.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various levels of personnel, both locally and globally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting and monitoring complex full-stack applications in a production Unix/Windows VM-based environment;
  • Strong knowledge of patching and vulnerability management practices;
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible;
  • Familiarity with production monitoring tools such as AppDynamics or Grafana;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various levels of personnel;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
