Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in the Commercial Team, overseeing key retailers and representing all ELC brands. This position involves sales planning, managing the full commercial relationship between ELC and the retailer's buying department, and engaging in various responsibilities to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing business growth within the Pure Player channel with assigned clients, delivering retail sales, net sales, and meeting profitability and operational targets on a yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Actively creating clients' strategies, contributing to local and regional digital commerce strategies and planning.
  • Effectively leading internal discussions with key stakeholders to meet organizational targets.
  • Building close relationships with retailers and their key buyers.
  • Executing different brand strategies with retailers.
  • Driving and developing ELC's market share with retailers.
  • Thinking both branded and corporate, leveraging scale across brands where it makes sense.
  • Managing and solving issues with retailers' buying departments.
  • Exploring new business opportunities with retailers' buying departments.
  • Managing return targets for KA and creating actions in collaboration with brands.
  • Monitoring sales development (sell-in/sell-out) each month per retailer per channel.
  • Working with Customer Service to ensure orders are received and released in due time.
  • Monitoring stock rotation on a monthly basis and taking action if benchmark is not met.
  • Participating in brand marketing and sales planning.
  • Securing close dialogue with Brand Marketing and Sales Manager.
  • Delivering input for marketing teams to build the retailer plan across ELC brands.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience from similar positions in or outside the industry (preferred beauty, FMCG, or fashion). Experience in managing relationships with digitally driven clients. Strong negotiation skills proven by specific strategic results. Strong commercial background. Power-user in Excel and BI systems, general experience with MS Office. Learning agility. Ukrainian and/or Russian and English knowledge is essential. Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally is key. Must be highly structured and value excellence in execution. Goal and performance driven/motivated – fights to reach NS targets.
