Aptean is a pioneering company in the ERP solutions market, driving innovation and growth across various industries. As an Account Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in revitalizing dormant accounts and unlocking new opportunities within our existing customer base.
About the Role
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for proactively engaging with dormant accounts that have been inactive for 12 to 24 months. Your goal will be to reignite their interest and explore potential for growth. As your expertise grows, you will transition to larger accounts, continuously raising performance thresholds.
Main Responsibilities:
- Re-engage Dormant Accounts: Proactively contact dormant accounts, with the aim of rekindling their engagement and exploring growth opportunities.
- Account Management: Operate on a named account basis, ensuring clear accountability and personalized account management to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Account Development Representatives and Account Managers, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure cohesive sales strategies.
- CRM Management: Ensure that customer records are updated and maintained regularly in our CRM systems, providing accurate and up-to-date information for strategic decision-making.
- Upsell and Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, driving customers to purchase better versions of previously purchased products and new offerings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a similar role within the IT or software industry.
- Language Skills: Speaks fluent English; proficiency in French, German, or Dutch is a significant asset.
- Proactive and Results-Oriented: Demonstrates a proactive approach with a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Adaptable and Open-Minded: Embraces change and is adaptable to new processes, ensuring a positive attitude towards evolving company strategies.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple accounts and tasks effectively.
- Team Player: Works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
