Customer Service Representative with German Language Skills

Role Overview:
Huntsman Corporation's Polyurethanes Customer Service team is searching for an experienced Customer Service Representative in our newly formed HUB in Krakow, Poland. As a Customer Service Representative, you will support the delivery of defined, high-quality transactional and business services associated with the order fulfillment process. We are looking for someone passionate about providing exceptional customer service and solutions, with a focus on effective problem-solving and the ability to analyze challenging situations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple customer accounts in a specified region, overseeing the entire process from order to delivery.
- Daily contact with European customers, serving as the link between customers, sales, technical support, credit control, supply chain, logistics service providers, and other O2C-related departments.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders by providing relevant process and business information and proactively following up on orders and deliveries.
- Monitor customer accounts and/or order book status on a regular basis, resolving problems with potential customer impact, including credit blocks and delivery issues.
- Follow established procedures for each service request, including logging, processing, and progress chasing inquiries, adhering to all Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements, and Quality Standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Control the delivery process within SAP, preparing associated documentation for goods dispatch.
- Ensure all processed dispatches are ready for billing, system housekeeping is up to date, and all outdated stock demands are removed promptly.
- Refer availability/forecast issues to the daily hotspot meeting for resolution with relevant parties.
- Ensure the correct documentation handling, amendments, legalizations, and certifications as specified in the quotation and order to delivery process.
- Manage operationally Vendor Managed Inventory / Consignment in close collaboration with the customer.
- Control the settlement process for rebates and commissions associated with the allocated customer base.
Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for experienced candidates with great attention to detail and the ability to find the best solution for the customer and the business. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
- Previous professional experience in the Customer Service / Order Management field in a similar environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, ideally with SAP experience.
- Fluency in English and German required.
- Very good problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the business.
- An organized and systematic approach, with the flexibility to adapt to a demanding environment.
- Team Player and can-do/positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
