Business Development Manager

Grape Up is a leading consulting and technology company empowering the Automotive industry to build software-defined vehicles. We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth in the Automotive sector.
The ideal candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities related to our digital services and software development consultancy. As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for executing our go-to-market strategy for the Automotive digital service line.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acquiring market and customer intelligence
- Prospecting for new customers and generating leads
- Preparing proposals with support from pre-sales and engineering teams
- Conducting meetings and presentations with clients
- Qualifying, executing, and closing business opportunities
- Maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts
- Participating in conferences and exhibitions abroad
- Supporting various marketing activities
Requirements include:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in selling software services or products to large enterprises
- Good understanding of the software market and modern IT software stack
- Ability to establish contacts easily and build relationships with customers
- Results orientation and perseverance
- Fast learning skills, focus on value, and eagerness to drive change
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English (C1+) written and spoken is obligatory
- Readiness to travel for meetings and conferences
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the Automotive market within software services sector
- Experience in selling on DACH, Nordics, or US markets
- Good command of German (B2+) written and spoken
