Business Controller

As a Business Controller at KONE, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a finance business partner, providing actionable management insight and guiding commercial decisions towards profitable growth.
  • Developing forward-looking business development strategies to influence business stakeholders in decision-making.
  • Performing classic controlling activities, such as budgeting, on-time and quality month-end closing, actual results reporting, and forecast preparation, including variance analysis.
  • Preparing management information and ad hoc commercial and business analysis for decision-making, such as contract/project or customer profitability.
  • Supporting financial statement audit and internal control policies compliance.
  • Supporting strategic and long-term planning.
  • Continuously improving and simplifying processes combined with automation.
  • Providing advice and support to the finance and business community on reporting and accounting matters.
  • Managing finance master data, allocations, and structure, including recurring reporting preparation.

Our Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Self-motivated and result-driven personality with project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive improvement in processes, including effective communication.
  • Sound business acumen, demonstrating the ability to combine key commercial and financial drivers with understanding of core business issues and challenges.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • Strong presentation skills, including PowerPoint knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SAP and related SAP BPC tool will be an asset.
  • Fluent command of English and Polish is a must.
  • Ambitious and open for future development.
