Job Title: Logistics Representative

About the Role:

C.H. Robinson is seeking a skilled Logistics Representative to join our team in Wroclaw. As a key member of our Transportation Management Center (TMC), you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence, building client relationships, and identifying cost-saving opportunities within our global transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts to execute day-to-day transportation needs
  • Proactively monitor, manage, and follow up on shipment daily exceptions to ensure timely resolution
  • Manage service failures with transportation service providers and collaborate with customers to resolve any potential issues
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through route guide optimization, order consolidation, and lead time compliance
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and requests for additional information
  • Meet tactical and operational KPI targets, including quality and productivity metrics
  • Manage the reconciliation of weekly financial reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Responsible for running and improving reports on daily shipment activities to optimize logistics operations
  • Identify and implement operational efficiency gains to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Execute and respond to changes submitted by the customer in a timely and accurate manner, including notifying transportation service providers and rescheduling appointments

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role (European Logistics) or a university degree in the area of Logistics or Business
  • Fluency in English is a must for this role
  • Ability to create and adhere to processes and plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and be flexible
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a friendly and customer-service attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
