About this opportunity

Welcome to the CTO Service Delivery Management team. We add value by developing and enhancing processes for adequate service management in accordance with Nordea’s standards and optimizing costs concerning IT Services provided by the Supplier. As Service Delivery manager, you’ll play a critical role in monitoring supplier’s performance levels for the platforms and technologies in scope.


What you’ll be doing:

Maintaining high performance levels for service-related processes, and implementing improvement activities wherever necessary Recommending methods of improvement, seeing that actions are implemented and centrally reported Supporting high level issues connected with incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews Ensuring that procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery Developing a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery Maintaining knowledge of technologies and platforms Taking accountability for service delivery performance execution, meeting customer expectations, and in collaboration with Project Management driving future demand Ensuring that agreed Run and Build Services are delivered according to the contract Running governance on operational delivery of the in-scope technologies and platforms Providing accurate and to the management on performance of the service delivery Develop, implement and maintain central health reporting of respective services

You’ll join a diverse dynamic team incorporating the supplier into Nordea IT Strategy. The role is based in Warsaw with the possibility of working remotely.

Client Relationship Management: Service Delivery Managers need strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients Leadership: you should possess leadership qualities to guide and motivate their team members. This includes the ability to delegate tasks, provide clear directions, and inspire collaboration and teamwork Project Management: skills to plan, organize, and coordinate resources, timelines and deliverables Problem-Solving: Service Delivery Managers should be adept at analyzing complex situations, identifying problems and proposing effective solutions Financial Management: you should have knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with financial goals. Continuous Improvement: Service Delivery Managers should have a continuous strive for improvement. Proficiency in English

Your experience and background: 

Technical Knowledge: While not always required to be hands-on with technical aspects, having at least generic understanding of IT systems and infrastructure is a must to effectively communicate with technical teams while familiarity with emerging technologies can be valuable in understanding the service delivery landscape will be considered an asset. We are searching for people with hands-on service management experience in the following areas: Database (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2), Network or Digital Workplace Experience in supplier management and third-party-provided services Min. 10 years of experience working in a diverse, large-scale environment Min. 10 years of experience and working knowledge on Service Management: ITIL and best practices in the market
