What you would do as our Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

You will join the EMEIA Division as a Business Development Manager (f/m/d). In this role, you will be responsible for developing the associated product portfolio for Mechanical Core Product Performance at the EMEIA level. You will report directly to the SVP & Head of Mechanical Core Business Segment EMEIA. Ideally, you will join our team in Albstadt or Berlin, Germany. Alternatively, our locations in Stockholm, Sweden; Graz, Austria; Willenhall or Woking, UK; and Krakow, Poland could also be an option.

You would also:

Manage and strategize the Mechanical Core product portfolio's performance. Collaborate with Business Analysts to drive strategy and operational excellence. Lead initiatives with product marketing teams to enhance product visibility. Monitor KPIs to guide data-driven decisions and assess product success. Identify growth opportunities and optimize market positioning. Align portfolio plans with market trends and competitive developments. Guide projects through strategic alignment and execution processes. Aggregate OEM requirements for R&D and business case development. Develop product-brand strategies to boost market presence. Drive cross-selling strategies for comprehensive AA door solutions. Manage central AA product certifications across the portfolio. Contribute to the Mechanical Core Academy and facilitate platform councils. Provide technical support and sales-oriented product training. Collect and analyze market information including trends and competitor insights. Act as a liaison between innovation, operations, logistics, sales, and marketing. Mentor Project Management teams to foster growth and excellence.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

Demonstrates excellent technical expertise Holds a degree in engineering or business (or equivalent qualification) Possesses a strong background in product/branch management Brings relevant experience in customer-focused markets Has extensive experience in business development and product management Exhibits strong international and multi-cultural exposure Is fluent in English and proficient in another local language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch). Demonstrates proficiency in analytical and project management skills proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Industry-specific experience in the security, building or related fields (e.g., locking solutions, general hardware or door security products) is required.

Ideally, you would also have a self-starter and proactive approach, be communicative with the ability to integrate with multiple teams and organizations and possess the ability to multitask with good organization skills.
