Job Overview:
The Payroll Coordinator is a key member of the HR Shared Services team, responsible for managing and processing payroll activities for countries within their scope. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accurate monthly payroll processing and validation of payroll results.
- Calculation of statutory and occupational sickness payments, maternity, paternity, and benefit expenses.
- Cooperation with Social Security Institutions and Tax Offices.
- Maintenance of disability fund submissions and preparation of reports for Statistical Offices.
- Assistance in preparing annual declarations and insurance confirmations.
- Responding to payroll-related inquiries and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Responsible for payroll-related Key Performance Indicators and reporting.
- Assistance with payroll, pension, and insurance-related administrative tasks.
- Liaison with pension and insurance providers for operational issues.
- Review and processing of timesheets and work records.
- Review and processing of leave records.
- Upkeep of overtime, benefits, and bonus data.
- Reviewing payroll actuals.
- Assistance with HR-related budget control in countries within assigned scope.
- Assistance in audits related to payroll or payroll systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in processing Polish payroll.
- Functional knowledge in key HR competencies and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (multilingual preferred).
- Intermediate/business level in Dutch, Italian, or English.
