Job Summary

Finsbury Food Group is a leading speciality bakery manufacturer seeking a Category Manager to join our Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies, managing key accounts, and providing market and consumer insights to drive growth for our brand/license portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies to achieve budgeted profitable growth
  • Manage Finsbury's category relationship with key accounts
  • Provide market and consumer insights to support Finsbury's Brand Team
  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Development Teams to create compelling selling stories for FFG products

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer-facing FMCG Customer Marketing/Category Management
  • Experience of using key category management tools, such as EPOS & panel data, shopper & consumer insight, range management, space planning/merchandising
  • Commercial insight & acumen, with the ability to build/adapt customer/category plans to meet & exceed commercial objectives
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present category information in a clear & confident way to all audiences
