About the Role:

The Business Account Manager will play a vital role in managing our commercial relationships with key customers, driving business growth and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a seasoned sales professional looking to join a leading speciality bakery group in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar National Accounts/Business Account Manager position within a FMCG or Food manufacturing business
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and Board level
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
