Unlock Your Potential as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

SAS is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Pre-Sales team, you will provide technical assistance for software pre-sale and post-sale activities, utilizing your knowledge of industry or industry segment processes and challenges.

About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, you will work closely with our sales staff to identify opportunities, articulate business and technical value, and prepare and present software demonstrations. You will also collaborate with account teams to deliver standard, customized, and/or strategic presentations outlining the proposed software functional capabilities, competitive advantages, and business benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with sales staff to outline available products and leverage sales opportunities.
  • Support tender process within Customer Advisory responsibilities.
  • Deliver presentations outlining software functional capabilities, competitive advantages, and business benefits.
  • Lead or cooperate on business and/or technical workshops, POCs, or MVPs.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to collect, clarify, and document technical and business requirements during the sales cycle.
  • Provide demonstration and business development support at vendor-sponsored events, trade shows, and user group meetings.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in technical sales, technical support, information systems, or a related area of expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, or other quantitative field related to area of assignment.
  • Experienced to Advanced knowledge of SAS System tools. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Programming proficiency as required for prototype development and product demonstrations.
  • Ability to relate technical concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
  • Fluent Polish/English.
  • Travel as business requirements dictate.
