Your Responsibilities

  • We deliver top-class support to global enterprises that drive the modern-day digital economy. You help support applications and infrastructure that enables thousands of customers to connect with their cloud services.
  • You will be exposed to awesome tools, systems, and products as well as help brush up your IT skills like SQL, API, IT Networking, and many more.

About the Role

This internship is designed for students who have a strong interest in cloud-native technologies and want to kick start their corporate career and set themselves up for future success.

You will be assigned with a project and work directly with teams to gain real-work experience, contribute to the business, and impact the digital world.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. You will be responsible for providing technical support to Equinix Digital Services customers through various platforms such as emails, tickets, live chat, private, and public Slack channels.
  2. Provide support to new and existing customers, including responsibility for queue sanitation, ticket triaging, troubleshooting, and resolution, follow-up with customers and relevant stakeholders throughout Equinix Digital Services.
  3. Be an expert resource on Equinix Digital Services: ensure familiarity with all aspects of the Equinix Digital Services platform, constantly expand your knowledge of common use cases and deployments. Understand and practice with Equinix Digital Service's API.
  4. Support customers and operations team members: observe and help lead incident management protocols, serve as a communication lead as needed during customer-impacting events, provide relevant details to sales, account, product, and operations teams, ensure excellent documentation to enhance self-service, provide content and edits to our public-facing documentation.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor's or master's degree studies (graduation between December 2025 - September 2026).
  • Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the summer internship program (between July and September, depending on your school system).
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English.
  • A strong interest in Computer Networking (OSI model), System Administration, Application Support, Server-side Hardware, SQL/Databases, APIs.
  • Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new tools.
