Job Summary
This field-based position reports to the Director of Operational Effectiveness & Commercial Excellence, with a dotted line to the Indirect Markets, Sales & Marketing Directors for each region. The Sales Training Manager will support the Commercial Excellence team in delivering field training for partners and their in-country sales teams, focusing on selling excellence, product knowledge, and key account management capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs that enhance selling skills, specifically value-based, key account management, and negotiation techniques.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales & Marketing Directors to identify knowledge gaps and skill development needs for partner sales teams, customizing training content accordingly.
- Develop impactful training materials, presentations, and resources aligned with the company's sales goals and objectives.
- Lead engaging workshops and training sessions to improve business acumen and selling capabilities of our sales teams.
- Teach effective selling techniques, objection handling, and consultative selling approaches to empower Partner partners' sales teams.
- Work closely with International Sales, Marketing, Medical, and Commercial Training to ensure training alignment with company-wide objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience within the healthcare industry as a field trainer, ideally with Partner sales teams.
- Proven experience as a business acumen and selling skills trainer or in a similar role within a sales or corporate environment.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for easy comprehension.
