Role Summary: We're looking for a talented and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our IG Group team. As a key member of our Service Desk team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that our desktop environment is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage incidents and service requests via phone, email, and Service Now
  • Accurately record, categorize, and prioritize incidents, quickly determining their severity and business impact in Service Now
  • Provide technical support for desktop-related issues, including Active Directory, TCP/IP, Windows Defender, and Microsoft operating systems
  • Deploy and maintain applications, including testing and documentation
  • Support a mobile workforce within a secure enterprise environment

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be a proactive problem-solver, able to think critically and come up with creative solutions to complex issues. You will also have experience working with desktop environments, including Microsoft and Apple, and be familiar with service desk software such as Service Now.
