As an Operational Excellence Manager at Flint Group, you will play a critical role in optimizing processes owned by the SSC organization, enhancing productivity and driving operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include analyzing existing processes to identify areas of improvement, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement strategies for administrative functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process analysis: Gathering data, observing workflows, and conducting interviews with staff to identify areas for improvement.
  • Process improvement strategies: Collaborating with teams to develop and implement strategies for administrative functions, including redesigning workflows, implementing new technologies, and introducing best practices.
  • Standardization and documentation: Developing and implementing standardized procedures, policies, and guidelines, as well as creating process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and templates.
  • Training and development: Providing training and coaching to staff on new processes, procedures, and tools, ensuring employees understand and adhere to improved administrative processes.
  • Performance monitoring: Establishing key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of processes, regularly monitoring and analyzing data to identify trends, track progress, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Technology implementation: Identifying and implementing technology solutions to automate and streamline processes, including evaluating and selecting software applications, overseeing implementation, and providing training and support to users.
  • Change management: Leading and managing change initiatives related to processes, communicating changes to stakeholders, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new processes.
  • Stakeholder management: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including department heads, executives, and administrative staff, to gain buy-in and support for process improvement initiatives, building strong relationships, and effectively communicating the benefits and impact of proposed changes.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation: Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with process improvements, developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions, and ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Continuous improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the SSC function, encouraging feedback, soliciting suggestions, and fostering innovation to identify new opportunities for process optimization and implement changes as needed.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in an SSC or COE with a proven track record.
  • Process guru with great project management and change management skills.
  • Tech-savvy and passionate about efficiency improvement through standardization and digitalization solutions.
  • Can-do hands-on attitude.
  • Certification and experience in the use of Lean and Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Mandatory fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to use the SAP system.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, etc.).
  • Very good work organization and customer relationship building skills.
  • Very good communication skills, including stakeholder management and the ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Independence in acting and making decisions in the assigned area of authority.
  • Ability to think analytically and easily absorb new knowledge.
  • Initiative in action.
