About the Role

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team at Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Partner Lead to play a critical role in capitalizing on a Cloud and AI market opportunity in FY24. As a leader in the GPS team, you will be responsible for building strategic partnerships with Microsoft's partners to drive growth and innovation in the cloud and AI space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the FY24 GPS strategy and drive attainment of performance metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of partnership initiatives.
  • Deliver impactful solutions in the Cloud Solution Area through strategic partnerships and collaboration with partners to deploy cutting-edge solutions that meet customer needs and drive market differentiation.
  • Drive co-selling performance through partner facilitation and work closely with partners and internal teams to drive seamless co-selling processes and maximize revenue potential.
  • Aid adoption of new regional resources and teams by providing enablement programs, go-to-market strategies, and strategic investments to foster growth and productivity.
  • Drive partner ecosystem health by representing area partners to the Microsoft organization and assessing and improving partner ecosystem health to ensure mutual growth and prosperity.

Requirements

  • Leadership and talent development experience, including senior sales leadership roles, managing high-performance sales and technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, exceeding quotas by leading sales teams along complex sales cycles through a partner ecosystem and centralized marketing engine.
  • Proven experience in partner management, including deep understanding of differentiated partner business models, strategy, and execution within enterprise and SMC/SMB digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, emerging solution trends, and their impact on the partner ecosystem.
  • Business acumen and sales expertise, including in-depth understanding of sales performance metrics and ability to drive results through effective partner engagement, proficiency in driving co-sell performance, fostering strategic partnerships, and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Partner relationship management, including strong relationship-building skills to foster a healthy partner ecosystem, proven ability to drive partner satisfaction, sales transformation, and partner adoption of key programs and investments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, business management, or related field.
  • Strategic thinking and advocacy skills, including exceptional strategic thinking abilities to develop and execute partner strategies aligned with business objectives and effective advocacy skills to represent the voice of partner and collaborate with core teams for partner experience improvement.
