Our Middle Office Operations Manager will be responsible for managing trade capture and life-cycling of vanilla and structured products across FX, Rates, Credit, Repo, and Treasury Markets. This individual will also serve as a subject matter expert for MIS, cost-per-trade, touch points per trade, and drive their evolution to add value through improved data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage trade capture and life-cycling of vanilla and structured products.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve process consistency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for MIS, cost-per-trade, touch points per trade, and drive their evolution to add value through improved data.
  • Pursue opportunities to improve global consistency, working closely with onshore and other regions to close gaps and standardize processes.
  • Represent Operations in external, internal, and regulatory scheduled audits.
  • Partner with FO to identify booking model improvements and drive efficiency.
  • Built strong relationships with Onshore Middle-Office teams to facilitate efficient communications and speedy resolutions of any issues.
  • Identify and close knowledge gaps within the Hubs through hands-on training.
  • Achieve regulatory compliance and future-proof the Middle Office model through a strong understanding of current rules and anticipation of upcoming regulations.
  • Adhere to Ops Risk Framework standards of implementation and process management.
Requirements
  • University degree in a related field (preferably in Finance).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Markets, ideally from a top-tier bank.
  • Experience with FM products like FX, Securities, and Derivatives, and a deep understanding of Financial Markets business and front-to-back Operational processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office package (MS Excel and MS Word).
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI and VBA Macro.
  • Proficient communication skills in English (articulation and writing).
  • Strong analytical skills and capability for self-directed research and work.
  • Ability to collaborate and work dynamically across country, region, business, and group stakeholders.
  • Sharp business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Availability to work within a shift model to cover US time zone.
