Our client, a renowned player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, is driving innovation and market leadership through strategic partnerships.
**Job Summary**
- We are seeking an accomplished Global Sales Development Manager to oversee key client relationships within the DACH region, focusing on international and global contracts.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain strong working relationships with key clients in the DACH region, negotiating and securing international and global contracts that drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with the demand planning team to ensure effective sales planning is aligned with production needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead negotiations with key international partners, expanding discussions to a global level across multiple countries, leveraging expertise to deliver value-added solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on competitor activities in the market, analysing pricing strategies, new product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives to inform business decisions.
- Act as both an initiator and executor, driving strategic decisions and new opportunities while maintaining key relationships, promoting a customer-centric approach.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in the FMCG industry, preferably private label, within the DACH region, with a strong focus on working with large international retail chains.
- Fluent knowledge of English and German to communicate effectively with business partners.
- Ability to work independently, handling high levels of autonomy, making strategic decisions, and driving negotiations (e.g., Joint Business Planning).
- Strong capability to collaborate and build relationships, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Initiative-driven approach with the ability to act as both a strategist and executor, identifying new business opportunities and managing key client relationships at a global level.
