Job Title: Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at DSM. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing sales targets for assigned customer portfolios across Perfumery business lines. You will also define and implement individual customer plans across business lines, maintain relationships at the highest level, and manage commercial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define account objectives and develop commercial strategy through an account plan to drive profitable sales growth
  • Develop successful working relationships with clients, establish DSM as a key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business
  • Negotiate with clients favorable commercial terms, including payment terms, prices for new business, and increases for existing items
  • Get a clear and complete briefing from clients and translate their needs into DSM projects
  • Anticipate clients' needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities
  • Partner internally with cross-functional teams to create holistic value propositions for clients
  • Build account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus given objectives
  • Identify gaps and needs in client portfolio and set up proactive plans to increase and defend market share
  • Identify and document business potentials and competitive landscape
  • Manage product life cycle, demand planning, customer care, and supply chain efficiency

Requirements:

  • Account management, preferably B2B ingredients sales experience for beauty and household
  • Excellent Polish and English language (min. B2) is a must
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet environment
  • Learning agility, commitment, and excellent work organization
  • Sales, communication, and cooperation skills at a high level
  • Perfumery industry (or similar) experience will be an asset
