Job Title: Strategic Marketing and Sales Director for Emergency Care

Job Overview:

This is a pivotal role within Philips, reporting directly to the European Emergency Care leadership team, focusing on the strategic development and implementation of Marketing and Sales strategies for the Emergency Care business in the CEE region. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, deep understanding of the Emergency Care market, and a proven track record in driving commercial growth.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Marketing and Sales strategies aligned with Philips' overall European Emergency Care business objectives
  • Lead a cross-functional team to identify, analyze, and prioritize new business opportunities in the CEE region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including European Business Category Leaders, CEE zone teams, and channel partners
  • Collaborate with the European Emergency Care leadership team to design and execute on EC plans for the zone
  • Nurture and educate sales forces of indirect channel partners on Philips EC products and solutions
  • Drive and execute marketing activities on the territory, in collaboration with partners, focused on increasing KOLs preference towards Philips products
  • Plan sales-related activities and manage OIT & sales forecast on the territory, in collaboration with the ICM team
  • Collect and channel back information about market dynamics, competitive activities/products, providing input for regular reviews of Philips market tactics

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in business, medical engineering, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in business/marketing/sales with a proven track record of sales and P&L experience
  • Strong knowledge of and experience working with Emergency Care portfolio
  • Clinical knowledge of defibrillation products and workflows is an advantage
  • 5+ years of experience working with indirect channel partners
  • Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, high independence, and initiative
  • Strong business orientation & ability to understand business needs and translate into actionable plans
  • Great collaborator, able to work as part of a virtual team
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to represent the company in front of customers, industry organizations, and lead change
  • Ability to drive results in a matrix structure
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Experience in Modality Management and tactical sales plan development and execution
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Readiness for intensive travel within CEE and occasionally within Europe
