Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Sales and Business Development to lead our office in Warsaw, Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the Polish market.

Salary: Competitive salary package (€60,000 - €80,000 per year), reflecting your success and contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance and expansion of our Poland office
  • Drive strategic and operational initiatives to capitalize on the growth potential in this key market
  • Develop existing client relationships and actively pursue new opportunities for expansion
  • Lead, support, and develop our team in Poland to jointly drive growth and celebrate success
  • Craft and oversee the creation of compelling RFPs to attract and gain new clients
  • Provide transparent and insightful monthly reporting to the board on progress and strategies
  • Manage business units within allocated budgets to achieve company goals
  • P&L accountability of the Polish office to align with company expectations and ensure sustained success

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a senior sales/marketing position in the airline/travel industry in Poland
  • You are a natural business developer who is passionate about service excellence and business growth, you always go the extra mile to achieve your targets
  • Characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, you motivate and inspire colleagues
  • You enjoy working in a fast-moving environment with flat hierarchies, open door policies, and dynamic people
  • Fluency in Polish and English is a given, with proficiency in additional languages being highly advantageous
  • Proven track record in sales, marketing, and leadership within the airline or travel trade industry (e.g., Tour operator, corporate, consolidator)
  • You embrace digital innovation and adapt readily to change, leveraging technology to drive organizational progress
  • Today you might have a leading role, ideally in Sales, Marketing or Business development, and you are looking for your next career step
  • As a strong communicator, you have an extensive business network in the aviation, tourism and travel trade industry
  • Willingness to travel on duty
