About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Market Data Specialist to join our truView analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality market data to support our clients' risk management needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support risk operations by ensuring timely, accurate, and within-scope delivery of market data.
  • Become a process/platform SME, conducting root cause analysis of data issues and serving as the point of contact for questions, queries, and requests related to market data.
  • Independently perform work within guidelines and according to specific procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT, Financial Engineering, and Product teams on product enhancement and development.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL and knowledge of database design.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and related tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
  • Strong team ethics and team player.
  • Good communication and English language skills (both written and verbal).
  • Attention to details, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with database/data warehouse.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Industry knowledge, experience in Market Risk, Market Data, etc. will be an advantage.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
  • Typically 2+ years of industry experience across Financial Services, IT, or Data fields.
  • Clear understanding of investment data, financial instruments, and market risk concepts.
  • Experience with VBA/Python/SQL or other tools.
