As an Account Manager, you will define and execute sales targets for assigned customer portfolios across Perfumery business lines. You will also define individual customer plans across business lines, maintain the highest level of relationship, and manage commercial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define account objectives, develop a commercial strategy through an account plan to drive profitable sales growth.
  2. Establish successful working relationships with new and existing clients, position dsm-firmenich as a key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business.
  3. Negotiate favorable commercial terms, including payment terms, prices for new business, and increases for existing items.
  4. Obtain clear and complete briefings from clients and translate their needs into dsm-firmenich projects.
  5. Anticipate clients' needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities.
  6. Partner with cross-functional teams (Fragrance Development, Marketing, Innovation) to create holistic value propositions for clients.
  7. Build account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives.
  8. Identify gaps and needs in client portfolio, set up proactive plans to increase and defend market share.
  9. Identify and document business potentials and competitive landscape.
  10. Manage product life cycle, demand planning, customer care, and supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:
  1. Account management experience, preferably in B2B ingredients sales for beauty and household.
  2. Excellent English language skills (minimum B2) are required.
  3. Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet environment.
  4. Learning agility, commitment, and excellent work organization.
  5. High-level sales, communication, and cooperation skills.
  6. Perfumery industry experience is an asset.
  7. Drive and true learning agility can compensate for lack of industry experience.
