We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist (Russian speaker) to join our team and provide expert technical support for our clients in the financial sector.
Job Summary
This role involves providing online consultations to corporate customers on operational issues related to EFT POS terminal networks and software solutions. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in technical support of desktop applications and client-server systems, as well as excellent communication skills in English and Russian.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to corporate customers on operational issues of EFT POS terminal networks and software solutions via online consultation, email, phone, Jira-tickets, or other means.
- Deploy software remotely and onsite, including preparation, configuration, and delivery via online tools, as well as maintenance of SW releases repository.
- Support integration projects, including requirements analysis, test equipment setup, integration tests onsite, and training sessions for customers on our solutions.
- Manage UAT process, report issues & requirements, and interact with payment systems.
- Investigate complex technical issues, interact with the Central team, and build/maintain test environment SW/HW needed for Support ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Development and Technical Support teams, estimate Support work for projects tasks, define Support scope, and participate in knowledge transfer between teams.
- Participate in projects expertise and Poof-of-Concept tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical support of desktop applications and client-server systems.
- Good knowledge of software administration, understanding of software development lifecycle, Windows administration, and Linux basics.
- Knowledge of wireless communication, USB/RS232 connection principles, communication equipment (modems, switches/routers), internetworking (TCP/IP, Eth framing, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs).
- Experience with diagnostic tools (Wireshark), base cryptography knowledge (symmetric/asymmetric), and creating/updating technical documentation.
- Knowledge of payment transactions principles, EMV technology, financial protocols, and SQL basics (MS SQL, MySQL).
- Understanding of PCI requirements and payment systems requirements.
Bonus Points
A basic knowledge of any programming language (C/C++/Java/Python) would be an asset.
About the Role
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be working closely with our Development and Technical Support teams to deliver high-quality technical support services to our clients.
Location
This role is based in Poland, and we are willing to relocate the right candidate within the country.
Compensation Package
The estimated salary for this role is approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This package includes a competitive salary, additional benefits, and opportunities for growth and professional development.
