About the Role



We are seeking an accomplished Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to drive the migration and re-engineering of large-scale content management services in our Global Banking/Technology Service team.



As part of our dynamic and productive environment, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Exchange, MS Office, Azure, and other products to develop business-critical products and services.



Key Responsibilities




  • Design and implement migration strategies for transitioning from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online
  • Automate migration processes using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, and quality assurance professionals
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems swiftly and efficiently
  • Maintain a sharp focus on application design, security, and performance


Requirements




  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar position
  • Experience in designing and implementing migration strategies for SharePoint
  • Proficiency in automating migration processes using PowerShell and Azure DevOps
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure (Container Apps, AD, ACR, APIM, AFD, Networking, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Bicep and Terraform
  • Experience in conducting security scans using tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyck, Mend, etc
  • Expertise in building solutions ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption during the migration process
  • Experience with CI/CD: Gitlab/Github/Azure DevOps - yaml pipelines
  • Proficiency in optimizing SharePoint Online environment for performance and scalability
  • Strong PowerShell and shell-scripting skills, including SharePoint deployment automation
  • Solid background in Agile/Extreme programming
  • History of working in a distributed (onshore/offshore) team environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize technical information for various stakeholders
  • Fluent English at a B2+ level
