About Our Company

With over 70 years of experience, our client has developed a wide range of high-performance refractory products tailored to industrial needs. These products are formulated with silico-aluminous materials and other special compounds such as graphite, Zircon.

The future Area Sales Engineer for Czechia will be responsible for developing partnerships with local industries in the Czech territory. The scope of this role is likely to expand in the upcoming years to cover a larger share of the Eastern European market.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing targeted sales strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets across the designated area.
  • Identifying new business opportunities within various sectors using refractory materials (e.g., steel, glass, cement, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and prospective clients.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all client needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Intelligence
  • Conducting regular market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Providing market intelligence and feedback to internal teams to inform product development and positioning.
Technical Consultation and Support
  • Offering technical expertise and product recommendations to clients, ensuring solutions meet customer needs.
  • Collaborating with the technical and production teams to tailor products for customer-specific applications.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting
  • Preparing sales forecasts and reports to provide insights on sales performance, market trends, and potential growth areas.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Negotiation and Contract Management
  • Managing the negotiation process for sales agreements, ensuring competitive pricing and mutually beneficial terms.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and pricing structures during negotiations.
Customer Retention and Support
  • Ensuring after-sales service, including technical assistance and customer support, to drive repeat business and client retention.
  • Addressing any product issues or concerns in coordination with the technical team.

The Ideal Candidate

A bachelor's degree; Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in the cement industry; Knowledge of the refractory sector; High level of motivation and ability to manage customer relationships with confidence; Great interpersonal and communication skills; Being result-oriented; Ability to travel in the assigned region; Fluency in English.
