N-iX is a dynamic IT service provider seeking an experienced Technical Systems Support Specialist to join our team. This part-time position requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End User Support: Provide prompt assistance to users via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person support, to resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
  • First-Level Technical Support: Under direct supervision, deliver initial technical support for end-users experiencing computer hardware, software, network-related problems.
  • IT System Administration: Deploy and manage IT systems in the assigned region, encompassing end-user desktops, laptops, computing servers, network equipment, voice and video hardware, and mobile devices.
  • System Configuration and Maintenance: Manage desktop images, conduct upgrades, perform security patching, and configure systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Incident Resolution: Resolve incidents escalated by the call center or security operations center within appropriate priorities and urgencies.
  • Troubleshooting and Solutions: Offer effective troubleshooting and accurate solutions to advanced hardware and software computing problems for Windows, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
  • Network Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain both wired and wireless network connections between devices, ensuring reliable communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Possess at least 1 year of experience in system administration or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Be a flexible, reliable individual with good communication skills, able to work independently.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
  • Operating Systems: Proficient in Windows 10/11.
  • Network Technologies: Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Hardware: Experience with PC/laptops, switches, routers, access points, printers, video conference devices.
  • Language: Upper-Intermediate level English proficiency.
  • Working Conditions: Part-time, 3 days per week in the office.
